When A Car Isn't Good Enough

On August 10, 2009 I went to get an oil change and the mechanic did not put the cap back on the engine of my car. The car blew up and exploded. So since then I have been without a car which is dangerous since we are going into the winter. So somebody took it upon themselves to put this old, old, old car in the front of my apartment complex that was a 1989 vehicle and they wanted $1,000 for it. It was old, ugly, had paint peeling and it was really dirty inside too and someone had the nerve to ask a grand for it. Now I saw the car and did not purchase it because it looked like what it was a hunk of junk. So like three months later in November, I am on my way to a doctor's appointment and one of my neighbors Rachel who is a woman who doesn't have a car herself because she witnessed another neighbor Marcy get her head beaten upon with a hammer and was retaliated against by Lanie who did the beating with the hammer for going to the police. The police threw Lanie in jail and Rachel got her brand new car taken away from her she says she was retaliated against. So Rachel doesn't have a car either. So Rachel comes up to me and says, Oh well did you see a car up there for sale that was kind of old like your car was why didn't you buy it? I said what! They wanted $1,000 for that piece of garbage I am not paying $1,000 for that hunk of junk! It seems as if people seem to have a problem with me walking and taking the bus everywhere I go. People seemed to have a problem with me not buying that car but the truth of the matter is it just wasn't good enough for me! I mean Rachel doesn't even have a car herself so why would she be so concerned about me having a car? She has a teenage daughter so she should just concentrate on that and not be so interested in me or my finances. When I do purchase a car I usually get a good deal on Craigslist. My car that just got blown up only cost me $350.00 and it lasted 2 ½ years and would have lasted even longer than that if it had not been for Mitchy. First of all it made me mad that she would ask me why don't I have a car and she doesn't have one herself. Then it makes me mad that everybody thought I was going to be stupid enough to buy that car for a grand. I have a right not to like things and I have a right to say no and I exercised both rights so deal with it! All images are from Photobucket. |
