The scrotum is a sac that holds the testes outside of the body. The testes must be cooler than the internal temperature of the abdominopelvic cavity.
The testes produce sperm and testosterone.
The epididymis is a 16 feet of tube that leads to the ductus deferens and carries sperm from the epididymis. Then the semen goes to the urethra and the urethra carries semen to go to the outside.
The glands produce an alkaline white fluid that is secreted during ejaculation.
Benign hyperstatic hypertrophy is the prostate gets larger with age and if it sits on top of the bladder it is enlarged because it's benign or it is cancerous.
Why are urinary tract infections more common in the elderly? Males and females get catheterized in hospitals and the prostate gland sits right above the urethra.
********Problems with the prostate gland

***********The Female Reproductive System
The female reproductive system in a nutshell we have the vulva, the clitoris, the hymen, the labia and the Bartholins glands on both sides of the vagina that produce fluid.
There are more parts but those are best viewed on a diagram and these are the parts of the female reproductive system that we are discussing.
The ova or the egg (gonad) of the female uses chemical feedback.
The fallopian tubes lead away from the uterus or womb. The parts of the inside lining of the uterus are the endometrium, the myometrium and the peritoneum.
Menstruation is the shedding of the endometrium or the inside lining of the uterus.
Ovulations can occur every 14 days.
Menopause is cessation of menstruation.
Menarche is the onset of periods.
My menarche was at age 11 because I was overweight at the time. I managed to hide it from my mother for about six months by using toilet tissue instead of menstrual pads because I dreaded "the talk" from my mother because she is so vulgar at times.
The way that she found out was she burst in on me while I was in the bathroom preparing to take a bath and I wasn't naked but there was blood coming down the side of the toilet because there was no privacy in that house.
She would knock and then barge in the bathroom a practice that I detested greatly because of the invasion of privacy and this is my body type of stuff.
She barged in the bathroom and talked to me for like ten minutes all the while I am sitting on the side of the tub and blood is running down the side of the tub while she is talking to me.
That made me angry that she found out because I would have never told her since she had had another baby at that time and she was so into the new baby that that would have gone overlooked if she hadn't done that.
My menstruation was supposed to be my secret that I would keep from her forever since she was so busy with her new baby who is ten years younger than me by the way so you know she was quite jubilant over this new child.
So as I sat there and listened to her talk about how sex is power and that a man will do anything to have sex with you and don't do it and don't use tampons use pads and don't have sex in middle school or high school because it will be all over the school and on and on about how men will see me as a woman now and all of her cussing and fussing, I realized that even though I was busted, I saved myself this grief of having to listen to her for six months and that I had done the right thing to protect myself.
